Just checking to see if anyone else reported seeing an unidentified flying object directly west of Geneva on Thursday, Feb. 12, at about 8 p.m. The entire time it was under observation by my husband and I – approximately 15 minutes – it did not move at all.
I first thought it was an aircraft or helicopter. However, the object absolutely did not move. It was larger than any star or planet (at least triple the size of any star in the sky), and because it did not move even a hair during the period observed, it was not a helicopter or an aircraft, though airplanes appeared to be flying near it.
It was a circular light source of brilliant intensity that never shifted or fluctuated. We took pictures of it and it appears to be a perfect circle, like a small moon. Anyone else see it? Is there a plausable explanation for what we saw?
