Geneva to dedicate PA system to McNeil

The Geneva football program plans to dedicate the new public address system at Burgess Field to the late John McNeil in a ceremony between Friday's sophomore and varsity games against Morgan Park.

McNeil, a senior offensive lineman on Geneva's 2008 IHSA Class 7A state runners up, died in February.

The dedication is expected to begin at the conclusion of the sophomore game, which kicks off at 5 p.m. Varsity kickoff is slated for 7:30.
