Willing to wait

St. Charles East postponed Thursday's scheduled home volleyball match against Rosary until Oct. 15 so the teams can play at East's own gym.

A warped home floor has forced the defending IHSA Class 4A state champion Saints to contest early-season home matches at nearby Wredling Middle School and other sites.

East is set to take on Upstate Eight Conference rival Streamwood at St. Charles North High School on Tuesday before returning to Wredling Thursday for a UEC match against East Aurora.
