Lose the losing streak

VALPARAISO, Ind. – Sayonara, skid.

The Aurora Central Catholic football team racked up 563 rushing yards on Saturday afternoon to beat Michigan Lutheran, 62-21, and end the program's 13-game losing streak.

"They were not able to stop us on the ground at all," Chargers coach Mike Curry said. "It was real nice in Valpo's big stadium and they were very nice hosts."

ACC (1-3) played the Titans (3-1) at neutral-site Valparaiso University after some summer scheduling scrambling. Driscoll, the Chargers' one-time Suburban Christian Conference foe, created a Week 4 void after closing its operation in the spring.

The Chargers didn't seem to mind.

Alex Schaefer (176 yards) and Andrew Scott (128) both scored a pair of touchdowns for ACC, which led, 35-14, at halftime.
