Super Saturday for football

So much for Friday night lights.

All but one Chronicle-area football team will open up the first round of the IHSA playoffs on Saturday, including all three 7A squads, who each kick off at 1 p.m. The day and time for the 3A game between visiting Aurora Christian and Winnebago was the last one outstanding, but all suspense was lost when that one was scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, too.
