Preps 24/7: VandenBorn headed to KCC

Batavia senior middle hitter Kelsey VandenBorn recently delivered a verbal commitment to play volleyball at Kankakee Community College beginning next season.

VandenBorn, a Chronicle All-Area honorable mention, helped the Bulldogs reach the IHSA Class 4A Addison Trail Regional final this season, where the team lost to archrival Geneva. She is the second Tri-Cities athlete to commit to KCC this school year. In October, St. Charles East senior Steph Roan joined the softball program.
