Preps 24/7: Geneva's Delaney makes college golf plans

Geneva senior golfer Shannon Delaney has committed to St. Ambrose.

Delaney was a three-time all-Western Sun Conference selection and MVP of the Vikings last fall.

"Signing Shannon Delaney is a key piece to continuing St. Ambrose’s tradition of women’s golf excellence," St. Ambrose coach Ron Wastyn said in a news release. "With what Shannon has already accomplished and her potential, I look for her make a difference immediately."

St. Ambrose, an NAIA school located in located in Davenport, Iowa, has won the Midwest Collegiate Conference championship for the past eight years.
