Preps 24/7: Quartet of volleyball commitments

Working on our girls volleyball season preview, which comes out Tuesday, has allowed us to play catch-up on some recent Division I volleyball commitments from area players.
Kaneland's Jess Lubic (Northern Illinois), St. Charles East's Olivia Desormey (Seton Hall) and Batavia's Mary Nilles (Marquette) and Caitlin Piechota (Western Carolina) have made their decisions, and will continue the area's recent history of sending players on to the next level at an impressive clip.
No spoiler alert is warranted to confirm that this area is going to be loaded in volleyball once again this fall.
