Preps 24/7: Poulin takes over St. Charles North softball program
Tom Poulin will become St. Charles North's softball head coach, replacing April Stary, who stepped down this summer for family reasons.
Poulin, already North's boys basketball head coach and a football assistant coach, will become an even busier man.
"I'd be lying if I said there wasn't any anxiety but I also wouldn't take the job if I didn't believe I could do it and give all the time needed," Poulin said.
North softball is coming off back-to-back UEC titles and returns a senior-dominated squad that shapes up as a bona fide state title contender.
