ST. CHARLES – With the success of the fist pop-up gallery under its belt, the St. Charles Arts Council is opening its second venture, “Fall in Love with Art,” at the Cedar Avenue Business Center, located at 920 Cedar Ave. in St. Charles, with a reception from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

The public is invited to attend the free event where they can meet the artists and learn more about the gallery.

The gallery will featuring local artists whose work interprets one of the dozens of definitions of “fall” from verb to noun or adjective. Pieces include everything from mixed media to water colors, acrylics to sculpture with a prices ranges accommodating a variety of budgets.

The gallery will be open through Dec. 11. Admission and parking are free. A pop-up gallery is typically found in an empty storefront that is transformed into a temporary art gallery for a short period of time.

The neXt gallery program is an ongoing collaboration that promotes the work of local and regional artists and supports the arts, the St. Charles Arts Council and the St. Charles business community.
