Two injured in Geneva crash

GENEVA – Two people were taken to two hospitals Friday after a crash between two pickup trucks and an SUV at 8:10 a.m. on Fabyan Parkway and Kirk Road.

According to police, Ismael Espinal, 56, of the 200 block of Ann Street, West Chicago, was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, where he was treated and released. Thomas L. Gleason, Jr., 19, of the 40W100 block of Jack London Street, Campton Hills, was transported to Delnor Hospital in Geneva. Gleason was listed in stable condition Friday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Police said Espinal was driving a 2005 Nissan King Cab pickup truck west on Fabyan Parkway and failed to stop at a red light, striking a 2005 Mercury Mariner SUV driven by Brandon Williams, 19, of the 800 block of Oak Street, St. Charles. Gleason was a passenger in his vehicle. A third  pickup truck, a 2010 Chevy Silverado, was damaged by flying debris, police said.
