Face time with James Falconer
St. Charles resident James Falconer, 26, was playing basketball at Mount St. Mary Park in St. Charles when he answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Ashley Rhodebeck.
Where did you grow up? Sugar Grove until I was 12, then my family moved to St. Charles.
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Adrien Brody.
First job? Working at the Schwinn bike dealership.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a basketball player or a musician.
What team did you want to play for? The Bulls.
A movie you’d recommend? “Children of Men.”
Favorite charity? I work for a dental office. We do free dental work twice a year [as part of] Dentist with a Heart. Also, the Red Cross.
Hobbies? I play drums, guitar.
Favorite local restaurant? Beef Shack. Get the big beef dipped, covered in giardiniera.
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? The Nine Inch Nails broke my front tooth. I was trying to scream in Trent Reznor’s microphone. I’m lucky I work at a dental office.
