Kuehnert to step down from health department
GENEVA – Kane County will need to find a new director for the county’s health department.
But the search for someone to fill that spot permanently will wait until a new county board takes office early next year.
On Tuesday, Kane County Board Chairman Karen McConnaughay announced that Paul Kuehnert, who has served as executive director at the Kane County Health Department since 2007, informed her he will not renew his employment contract with the county when it expires June 1.
