Open house for village plan set in Campton Hills

CAMPTON HILLS – Community members have voiced their hopes for Campton Hills’ future for a year, and Monday, they’ll get a chance to say whether their priorities were reflected in a draft of the village’s comprehensive plan.

Drafts of the document, along with poster boards summarizing the highlights, will be available for review from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Wasco Elementary School, 4N782 School St.

“We feel that we have pretty adequately reflected what we’ve been hearing and also set forth the policies that will achieve what the village wants to achieve,” said Jason Navota, a senior planner with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.

What do you think of people using fireworks near their homes?

That shouldn't be tolerated. It's dangerous.
I'd never do it, but I'll watch others.
It's OK so long as the fireworks are legal.
It's not a problem. It's just a way to celebrate.
I have no opinion.
