St. Charles Police Reports

• Jerome Darrell Purdis, 28, of the 1700 block of West Edmaire Street, Chicago, was charged Monday, May 28, with criminal trespass to property.

• Jevonshe Temar Purdis, 21, of the 1100 block of Rushmore Drive, DeKalb, was charged Monday, May 28, with criminal trespass to property.

• Three Carol Stream residents – Todd Anthony Merrill, 23, of the 400 block of Shelburne Drive; David Joseph Bonk, 22, of the 400 block of Stonewood Circle; and Brandon Patrick Kamka, 23, of the 900 block of Glenlake Drive – were charged Sunday, May 27, with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. Merrill also was charged with obstructing/resisting police. The men reportedly were in Carroll Towers, 200 N. Second St., about 1:45 a.m. knocking down and breaking items, including door decorations, glass vases, furniture and the frame for the elevator inspection certificate. Police were awaiting word from the building manager about repair costs.

• Matthew Allen Ayers, 27, of the 1200 block of Chestnut Lane, Yorkville, was charged Sunday, May 27, with driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Luciano J. Noval, 49, of the 1600 block of Scott Street, Glendale Heights, was arrested Sunday, May 27, on a DuPage County warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

• Carl Robert Soderquist, 24, of the 1400 block of South Eighth Street, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, May 26, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent and improper lane use.

• Sara A.K. Szurgot, 25, of the 1400 block of Covington Court, St. Charles, was charged Friday, May 25, with public drunkenness.

• Joseph Lawrence Mitchell, 28, of the 500 block of Dorchester Court, Roselle, was charged Friday, May 25, with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and speeding.

• Seberino Gomez, 42, of the 30W300 block of Roosevelt Road, West Chicago, was charged Friday, May 25, with driving with a suspended license following a two-car accident without injuries in the 500 block of North Kirk Road.

• A CD changer and vehicle safety kit were reported stolen Friday, May 25, from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Cedar Street.

• Patio furniture – a table with eight matching chairs, two floor mats, a vase/planter and matching umbrella and base – was reported stolen Thursday, May 24, from a building in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

• Kimberly Ellen Kirby, 44, of the 1100 block of South 12th Street, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, May 24, with domestic battery.
