Davis-Richmond case heads back to court

ST. CHARLES – The legal debate over the reorganization of two St. Charles School District 303 elementary schools is not over.

Seventeen Davis Elementary School parents filed suit against the district last year after the school board voted to turn Davis and Richmond Elementary School into K-2 and 3-5 schools.

Kane County Judge Thomas Mueller stopped the lawsuit from proceeding last summer, but an appellate court judge sent the case back to his 16th Judicial Circuit courtroom.
