Prep Roundup: St. Charles North girls tennis downs S. Elgin
ST. CHARLES – A sweep of all four doubles matches Thursday keyed the St. Charles North girls tennis team’s 5-2 victory against South Elgin.
“Our doubles are kind of doing what we hoped they’d do,” North Stars coach Eve Tubman said. “Nobody really struggled out there.”
North’s No. 1 pairing of Ashley Randazzo and Faith Oehlerking yielded just two games in its match, while no other team allowed more than five in straight-set victories.
