Foster press release: Foster speaks to Illinois delegates

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

Bill Foster spoke to Illinois delegates in Charlotte about his campaign to fight for middle class families in Illinois and Congresswoman Biggert's jobs record.

“I was honored today to have the opportunity to speak to Illinois delegates at the Democratic National Convention,” said Bill Foster in a news release. “The Romney-Ryan-Biggert plan to dismantle Medicare and raise taxes on middle class families in order to protect tax breaks for billionaires and corporations would devastate Illinois families. After 13 years in Congress voting for the bad policies that failed to create jobs in Illinois or anywhere in the country, Congresswoman Biggert is no longer on the side of the middle class. The economy does best when the middle class prospers, and we need people in Washington who will put the interests of middle class families first.”
