Where did you grow up? Chicago.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Tom Hanks.

First job? Working on cars at a gas station.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I became what I wanted to be, an auto mechanic, body and fender.

A movie you’d recommend? My favorite movie is “Midnight Run.”

What is your guilty pleasure? Smoking Marlboro cigarettes.

Favorite charity? Any veteran organization.

Hobbies? Working on cars.

Favorite local restaurant? The Gratto Italian Tapas Bar in Geneva.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I found my first love again after 25 years. We, Sue Simpson and I, met at Taft High School. She was 16, and I was 17. We fell in love. Bought a house together. Did not get married. Stayed together for 12 years. Split up. She married somebody else, I stayed single. She got divorced after 17 years. My niece got us reunited on Facebook. We had not seen each other for 25 years. We’ve been together over a year now.
