St. Charles Police Reports

• Abigail Stephanie Torres, 20, of the 400 block of Addison Street, Elgin, turned herself in Sunday, Aug. 26, on a St. Charles warrant. She also had active warrants from Kane County and Chicago.

• David Charles Thompson, 48, of the 500 block of Post Road, St. Charles, was charged Wednesday, Aug. 29, with reckless driving and failure to give information after striking an unattended motor vehicle or property.

• John David Thompson, 24, of the 1600 block of Indiana Street, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Aug. 31, with two counts of aggravated battery on a public way.

• Laura Marie Titschler, 43, of the 300 block of Oakmont Drive, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Aug. 31, with driving under the influence of alcohol and parking where prohibited.

• Roberto Gomez James, 30, of the 200 block of Lakeside Court, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Aug. 31, with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

• A purse, $100 and credit cards were reported stolen Saturday, Sept. 1, from an unsecured locker at XSport, 238 N. Randall Road. The owner’s credit card company alerted her to fraudulent activity on her account, including a transaction at a Speedway gas station in North Aurora, two charges of $160.90 at a Walgreens in North Aurora and two attempts of $176 each at a Walgreens in Aurora.

• William J. Fenton, 32, of the 1000 block of Millview Drive, Batavia, was charged Saturday, Sept. 1, with fighting.

• William E. Landrum, 35, of the 1900 block of Chase Lane, Aurora, was charged Saturday, Sept. 1, with fighting.

• A group of juveniles reportedly threw eggs Saturday, Sept. 1, at a 2001 Infiniti I30 traveling on Route 31. About five eggs hit the car.

• Joseph J. Deutsch, 25, of the 2000 block of Best Place, Aurora, was charged Sunday, Sept. 2, with public intoxication.

• The passenger side tires of a Chrysler 300 were reported slashed Monday, Sept. 3, in the 1800 block of South Tyler Road.

• A lock at the Kane County Fairground’s northwest gate was reported shot off Tuesday, Sept. 4. The lock still housed the projectile, and a .40-caliber brass casing was found nearby on the ground.

• A vehicle’s windshield was reported damaged Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the 3400 block of Antoine Place. The damage was apparently caused by a baseball bat.
