• Abigail Stephanie Torres, 20, of the 400 block of Addison Street, Elgin, turned herself in Sunday, Aug. 26, on a St. Charles warrant. She also had active warrants from Kane County and Chicago.

• David Charles Thompson, 48, of the 500 block of Post Road, St. Charles, was charged Wednesday, Aug. 29, with reckless driving and failure to give information after striking an unattended motor vehicle or property.

• John David Thompson, 24, of the 1600 block of Indiana Street, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Aug. 31, with two counts of aggravated battery on a public way.
