St. Francis football runs away with victory

GLEN ELLYN – The St. Francis offensive line knew it had a decided advantage against the much smaller Chicago Christian front coming into its game Friday.

The weight advantage allowed the Spartans to run wild in a 49-0 blowout at College of DuPage. St. Francis gained 334 yards on the ground in the victory.

The Spartans started the rout in the second quarter by scoring 28 points en route to a 35-0 halftime lead. Michael Robinson scored two touchdowns in the second quarter.
