Sixth teen charged with underage drinking at party

GENEVA – The sixth teenager who was charged with underage drinking at an Aug. 21 party was served with a complaint Sunday.

Daniel J. Hart, 18, of the 900 block of Lewis Road, was charged with underage drinking and ordered to appear in branch court Oct. 16. Underage drinking is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $2,500.

According to reports, Hart was one of several teens at a house on the 2700 block of Patten Avenue when police were called in response to a complaint of a loud party.
