Geneva police reports

• A bike valued at $400 was reported stolen Wednesday, Aug. 29, from the bike rack at the train depot at 300 Crescent Place.

• A black leather Coach purse valued at $180 was reported stolen Sunday, Sept. 9, from the outside patio at Chianti’s, 201 S. Third St. The purse also contained a Fossil wallet valued at $40 and a $400 cellphone.

• Iliana Cuellar, 36, of the 200 block of South Fourth Street, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Sept. 7 with possession of drug equipment –  five partially smoked cigarettes containing marijuana – and driving with a suspended license.

• Kimberly A Smol, 58, of the 200 block of South Harrison Street, Geneva, was charged Sunday, Sept. 9, with two counts of domestic battery. According to police reports, the victim came home after drinking at a bar in Elburn and got into an argument. Reports state Smol allegedly struck him in the face and head.

•  Alexander M. Schenk, 25, of the 2100 block of Pepper Valley Drive, Geneva, was charged Sunday, Sept. 2, with two counts of domestic battery. According to police reports, the victim and her husband were drinking at a bar, came home and started arguing. He allegedly grabbed her by the arms and slammed her against a wall, causing a laceration on top of her head, reports state. According to reports, officers saw blood on her head and called for an ambulance to take her to Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

•  A pink swastika was reported painted on a city sidewalk Monday, Sept. 3, on the 1000 block of Ford Street. According to reports, a neighbor tried to remove it by sanding it off, but was not successful, so public works was called to eradicate it.

•  Andrew F. Potter, 20, of the 300 block of Colonial Circle, Geneva, was charged Monday, Sept. 3, with two counts of domestic battery. According to police reports, after breaking up with Potter, the victim came to his house to retrieve her belongings. An argument began, and Potter allegedly began screaming and throwing furniture. According to police reports, Potter grabbed her, threw her down where she struck her head on the floor, twisted her ankle and knee, for which she was treated at Delnor.

•  A wallet containing $150 was reported stolen Saturday, Sept. 1, from an unlocked car on the 2000 block of Bent Tree Drive. According to reports, the wallet was valued at $20.

•  The Kaffe Stuga, or coffee house, at Good Templar Park, 528 East Side Drive, was reported burglarized Friday, Aug. 31. According to police reports, the door was broken and a case of water was taken and scattered on the grass 500 feet from the building, with most of the water bottles emptied. The damaged door and the case of water was a $200 loss.
