St. Charles police reports
• Thomas R.B. Grimston, 21, of the 1400 block of Thoria Road, Batavia, was charged Saturday, Sept. 1, with fighting.
• Benjamin H. Johnston, 21, of the 700 block of Cleveland Avenue, Batavia, was charged Saturday, Sept. 1, with fighting.
• Julie Beth Welch, 48, of the 6N800 block of Greenlawn Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Wednesday, Sept. 5, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $69.03 in merchandise from Walmart, 150 Smith Road.
• Ami Nicole Hampel, 29, of the 400 block of Cedar Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Wednesday, Sept. 5, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $12.90 in merchandise from Walmart, 150 Smith Road.
• A vehicle was reported damaged Thursday, Sept. 6, in the fourth level of the First Street parking garage.
• About $400 in sterling silver flatware and other items were reported stolen Thursday, Sept. 6, from a 1998 Dodge Ram truck in the 0-100 block of South Second Street. The owner suspects he left the vehicle unlocked.
• David Michael Divito, 47, of the 3N400 block of Norris Avenue, West Chicago, was charged Friday, Sept. 7, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $77 in numerous small and food items from Walmart, 150 Smith Road.
• Benjamin Richard Hoover, 21, of the 1700 block of South Fairfield Avenue, Lombard, was arrested Friday, Sept. 7, on an Oak Brook warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of speeding.
• The rear window of a 2006 Honda Pilot was reported smashed Friday, Sept. 7, in the 1100 block of South 12th Avenue.
