Wheaton resident Jay Milano, 60, was selling hot dogs on the St. Charles Riverwalk when he answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Bellwood

Who would play you in the movie of your life? John Travolta

What was your first job? Cutting grass for factories that were behind my house while growing up

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I was always in sports. I had a passion for sports, but I ended up being a salesman, not a professional athlete.

A movie you’d recommend? I just saw “Lawless” and that was very good.

What is your guilty pleasure? Hot dogs and chocolate

Favorite charity? Goodwill, Salvation Army

Hobbies? Golf

Favorite local restaurant? Must Love Dogs hot dog cart

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I was once offered a ride home from Walter Payton. My car was being repaired and it was raining out, and Walter Payton pulled over and asked me if I wanted a ride. This was in Hoffman Estates. I was right across the street from where I was going so I did not accept the ride, but that was my brush with a famous person.
