U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, R-Winfield, released the following statement regarding the attack at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya:
“Today I join President Obama, Governor Romney, and all Americans in condemning this violence. It is tragic that this crime was apparently carried out in the name of religion.
“In the days ahead, I hope America will respond with discernment and swift justice for those who have killed our own. Today, we will mourn with the four American families who have lost their loved ones.”
