Face Time with Sue Simpson

Geneva resident Sue Simpson, 60, was walking on the St. Charles Riverwalk with her friend, Mike Saia, when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Chicago

Pets? A cat named Tabitha.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Michelle Pfeiffer

First job? Servomation Supply Inc. on Elston Avenue. They had vending machines, and I worked in the office doing billing.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a mother, and yes I did become that.

A movie you’d recommend? My favorite is “Rear Window.”

What is your guilty pleasure? Food in general

Favorite charity? Alzheimer’s Association

Hobbies? I collect seashells. I’ve got boxes and bins and boxes and bins, mostly from Sanibel Island in Florida.

Favorite local restaurant? The Gratto Italian Tapas Bar in Geneva.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Ryne Sandberg and Bobby Hull at a sports memorabilia autograph signing.
