Demo to teach kids, parents to cook together

GENEVA – Chef Graber and an assistant will demonstrate kid-friendly recipes for children and their parents at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s West Suburban Center, 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva.

The cooking demonstrations are free to attend and open to the public; however, seating is limited. To make a reservation, call 630-443-6910, ext. 116, or email msipes@northernilfoodbank.org.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank provides food to more than 60,000 hungry neighbors each week through a network of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and youth and senior feeding sites in 13 counties.
During the month of September, the Northern Illinois Food Bank and more than 200 Feeding America food banks across the country are hosting awareness campaigns and events to bring attention to and take action for the cause of hunger.
