Student gets gig at university’s radio station
Matthew Choffin, a senior at Bradley University in Peoria and son of Cathy and Mike Choffin of Batavia, has been named to the position of station manager of WRBU, the university’s radio station.
Some of his duties at the station include overseeing the day-to-day functions of the station, finding talent for shows and training DJs, organizing and hosting concerts, overseeing the department directors, and helping acquire new equipment.
Choffin is a 2009 graduate of Batavia High School.
