Renz center to host culinary fundraiser

ELGIN – The Renz Addiction Counseling Center is hosting its fifth annual Epicurean Delight Fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 29 at Elgin Community College’s Culinary Arts & Hospitality Department’s Spartan Terrace Restaurant, Building I, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

A gourmet dinner will be served as Chef Tom Johnston and ECC culinary art students will cook alongside St. Charles Mayor Donald DeWitte; St. Charles Bank and Trust Executive Debbie Fee; and Siegle’s Cabinet Center owner Mark Seigle.

There will also be a special presentation provided by All Chocolate Kitchen Owner and Chef Alain Roby, who will demonstrate sugar artistry.

Tickets cost $80 a person, with proceeds benefitting the Renz center. There will also be a raffle.
