Former Geneva student sentenced in threat to dean
ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – A judge sentenced a former Geneva High School student Thursday to probation on a felony charge of threatening via email to kill a dean last year.
Daniel T. Diomedes, 19, now of St. Charles, was sentenced by Kane County Associate Judge James C. Hallock to 101 days in jail, which he has already served, 30 months probation and other conditions.
Hallock convicted Diomedes on May 24 in a bench trial of one count of felony disorderly conduct. The charge had a penalty of one to three years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000.
