A potential baton exchange outside of the Marching Saints' homecoming show. Geneva could find itself out of the playoffs for the first time since 2003 with a loss, while an East win would put the program on the fast track toward its first playoff berth in three seasons.

Geneva will have it rolling if...
It can get its swagger going. Injuries have plagued the Vikings for much of the first five weeks, but the return of defensive lineman Jake Boser and linebacker Colin Griffin from injury ought to rejuvenate a unit that struggled to contain St. Charles North's in a 25-6 road loss last week. Vikings coach Rob Wicinski calls Saints senior fullback/linebacker Joe Hoscheit simply "a dude," and knows Geneva must hold the bruiser at the line of scrimmage to stay close.
