Rock Falls trucker missing, might be in Kane County

Police have entered a missing 35-year-old man from Rock Falls into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System and believe he may be in Kane or DeKalb counties.

Bryan Van Hooser was driving a semitrailer filled with frozen meat to Chicago early Tuesday, but never made it to work and no one has heard from him since, police said.

Police say he may also be headed to South Dakota, Wyoming or Nebraska.

Van Hooser is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes driving a 2005 blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with a Green Bay Packers trailer hitch and license plate 661-5431.

Anyone with information is asked to email tips@rockfalls61071.com or call police at 815-622-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 815-625-7867.
