Bohr, Rios carry Aurora Central Catholic football to victory
AURORA – Walther Lutheran had no answer for Aurora Central Catholic’s one-two running punch of Brian Bohr and Julian Rios, as the Chargers rolled to a 42-7 victory in Suburban Christian Conference Gold Division play.
Bohr rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and Rios gained 112 yards on just seven rushes, scoring twice.
Bohr and Rios both had to step up their games after senior running back Steven Amoni left the game after Aurora Central Catholic’s first play from scrimmage with an injury.
