Holiday Homecoming plans take shape

ST. CHARLES – The Downtown St. Charles Partnership has announced initial plans for Holiday Homecoming 2012.

Craig Larsen, founder and president of AHC Advisors, will serve as chairman, which is a volunteer role.

He has volunteered for the partnership for several years and is a past committee member.

In addition to Larsen, the committee includes John Hughes of N. Henry and Son; Steve Martin of First State Bank; Deb Fee of St. Charles Bank and Trust; Rose Canfield of Solutions Networking; and residents Darlene Riebe, Betsy Penny, Michelle Glowinski and Suzanne Simons.

“We are so fortunate to have this group of dedicated volunteers on our Holiday Homecoming committee and are extremely pleased that Craig Larsen is the Holiday Homecoming committee chair,” DSCP Executive Director Lynne Schwartz said.

Holiday Homecoming kicks off Nov. 23 with Lighting of the Lights in the First Street Plaza. The Electric Christmas Parade is set for Nov. 24.

The two-day event will include movies at the Arcada Theatre, sleigh rides and visits with Santa.

All Holiday Homecoming events and activities will be free.
