Bohorquez kicks Kaneland boys soccer to victory

MAPLE PARK – For much of the Kaneland boys soccer team’s contest with Morris on Tuesday, it appeared that neither side would erase its zero on the scoreboard.

The Knights finally broke the scoreless deadlock midway through the second half on an Ivan Bohorquez goal in front of the net.

Kaneland’s defense made the goal stand as it shut out the Redskins, 1-0, in the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference East Division match.
