Police remind residents of parking options
ST. CHARLES – With the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau hoping Scarecrow Fest maintains last year’s attendance of 150,000 people, the St. Charles Police Department is reminding residents of traffic restrictions and parking options for the three-day event.
Festival attendees are encouraged to carpool and use the remote park and shuttle lots. The west side lots are Haines Middle School at Ninth and Indiana streets; the St. Charles School District 303 administration lot at Seventh and Indiana streets; and – Saturday and Sunday only – Thompson Middle School at Seventh and West Main streets. The eastside lot is Charlestowne Mall, 3800 E. Main St., parking lot “H.”
