BATAVIA – Candidates for county offices will be headed to Batavia for a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Central Kane County. The event starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Batavia City Council Chambers, 101 N. Island Ave. The public is invited to come and ask questions. The election is set for Nov. 6. • County board chairman candidates, Democrat Sue Klinkhamer and Republican Chris Lauzen.

• Circuit clerk candidates, Republican Tom Hartwell and Democrat Ed Nendick.
