Activities celebrate National Physical Therapy Month

SUGAR GROVE – October is National Physical Therapy Month, and West Physical Therapy locales in Sugar Grove and Geneva are celebrating with weekly contests, games, health checks and tips.

Julie West, owner of West Physical Therapy at 38 S. Main St., Sugar Grove, and 2700 Keslinger Road, Geneva, said among the contests is a game called “move forward.”

“Whoever comes in gets a game token and answers a question regarding health or a tip of the day,” West said. “Sometimes, it will be about blood pressure or balance or fitness.”
