‘Price is Right’ contestant from St. Charles wins big

ST. CHARLES – Anyone who tuned in to “The Price is Right” on Wednesday probably caught St. Charles resident Dan Hagberg winning big.

He was chosen to “come on down” as a contestant for the show when he and a few friends went to the Los Angeles studio while on vacation in June.

Hagberg, 23, got on stage with host Drew Carey following the bidding round, where contestants guessed the price of a Canon camera. With a bid of $1, Hagberg was the only person who didn’t guess more than the actual cost of the camera, which ended up being his first prize.
