• Thomas J. Quinn, 25, of the 41W200 block of Prairie View Lane, Campton Hills, was charged Saturday, Oct. 13, with battery.

• A secluded home in the 6N600 block of Brookhaven Lane was reportedly burglarized between 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. Police noted a basement window was forced open. A computer, a watch, a purse, a container of loose change and jewelry valued at $23,000 were reported stolen.
