• The sidewalk in front of Geneva School District 304’s Coultrap facility, 1113 Peyton St., was reported vandalized Monday, Sept. 3. According to police reports, a swastika and three unknown symbols were spray painted on the sidewalk in orange. The cost to clean the damage was $200.

• Christopher A. Brown, 23, of the 0-100 block of South Lincoln Avenue, Geneva, was charged Saturday, Sept. 29, with driving under the influence, obstructing and resisting a police officer. According to the charges, Brown caused bodily harm to a Geneva officer who suffered numerous abrasions to his right wrist and both knees while Brown was resisting arrest.

• Dustin A. Westrom, 24, of the 2200 block of Vanderbilt Drive, Geneva, was charged Thursday, Oct. 4, with driving under the influence and speeding.
