I got a chance to visit Mooseheart Academy this week for their Fly into Reading event. I don't get to Mooseheart as often as I would like, so I relished the small amount of time I was able to squeeze into my schedule for this worthwhile cause.
I arrived just as the kindergartners were reading stories to trained therapy dogs as a way to boost their reading confidence.
Lizzy, a Shetland sheepdog, listened intently as Tarie Frank acted out a handful of her favorite tales.
