Marmion football closes
out with big win

AURORA – The Marmion football team continued its late-season surge all the way to the finish, walloping Walther Lutheran on Friday, 49-6.

The Cadets, who closed the season on a three-game winning streak, finish the year with a 4-5 record.

Marmion took the opening possession and ran the ball right down the throat of the Walther Lutheran defense. It led to a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Charlie Faunce to Jake Ruddy.
