St. Charles police reports

• Austin R. Bierman, 22, of the 33W100 block of Dunham Court, Wayne, was charged Friday, Oct. 19, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and disobeying a traffic-control device.

• Tyler E. Warden, 21, of the 42W200 block of Retreat Court, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Oct. 19, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and speeding.

• Christopher Fehlman, 22, of the 600 block of Prospect Boulevard, Elgin, was charged Saturday, Oct. 20, with public intoxication.

• Alexander D. Szafranski, 23, of the 1000 block of Abbeywood Court, Elgin, was charged Saturday, Oct. 20, with public intoxication.

• Amanda Marie Pomplin, 27, of the 200 block of South 18th Street, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Oct. 20, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and driving without lights when required.

• Nicholas Joseph Ruffino, 18, of the 1900 block of Jeanette Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Oct. 20, with retail theft for reportedly taking three Playstation games and a Playstation controller valued at $114.88 from Walmart, 150 Smith Road.

• Daniel L. Denotto, 50, of the 200 block of Maple Lane, Geneva, was charged Saturday, Oct. 20, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at South Third and West Main streets.

• Michael Brian Semmens, 20, of the 500 block of Bradbury Lane, Geneva, was charged Sunday, Oct. 21, with underage drinking.

• Ronald Lee Jones, 55, of the 1600 block of South Seventh Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Sunday, Oct. 21, with public intoxication.

• Michael Anthony Bosco, 46, of the 39W200 block of Meadowview Court, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, Oct. 18, with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

• Four maple trees were reportedly cut down overnight with an axe or a hatchet between Wednesday, Oct. 17, and Thursday, Oct. 18, at Mount St. Mary Park, 610 S. First St. Potted plants were also reportedly thrown around.

• Peter M. Bojovic, 28, of the 800 block of South Fifth Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, Oct. 18, with criminal trespass to real property.
