Face Time with Thaddeus Tousana

Batavia resident Thaddeus Tousana, 43, was at BatFest in Batavia when he answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Batavia

Pets? A hamster named Hammy

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Boris Kodjoe

First job? I set up the baseball fields for the Batavia Park District.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I am a paraprofessional in the special education program at Hoover Wood School in Batavia.

A movie you’d recommend? “Matilda”

Favorite charity? Boys and Girls Clubs of America

Hobbies? Basketball all day, every day

Favorite local restaurant? Bulldog’s Red Hots in Batavia

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? When I was in high school, I saved somebody’s life down at the Quarry Beach. I was just a kid who jumped in the water when all the lifeguards froze up.
