Spotted Fox to open near St. Charles mall
ST. CHARLES – Damian McBeth recognizes that opening a restaurant in St. Charles means going up against heavy hitters.
But with The Spotted Fox offering 30 craft beers and food made from scratch, he said the team at the east side alehouse wants to make it a destination.
The restaurant is targeted to open Nov. 16 at the former Bennigan’s, 3615 E. Main St., across from Charlestowne Mall. It has been gutted and renovated and should have a patio ready for the spring, said McBeth, the general manager.
