NORTH AURORA – North Aurora police have determined that an Oct. 2 shooting that injured two people in the 100 block of Route 25 was drug-related, and three residents of the apartment building where the shooting occurred are being charged with various drug charges.

All are from the same apartment building in the 100 block of South River Road, North Aurora.

Baldemar A. Aguilar, 23, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Deanna Hernandez, 21, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Stephen F. Kolar, 22, has been charged with the manufacture/delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators are making arrangements with attorneys representing the subjects for their surrender, police said. Aguilar and Hernandez both had their bail set at $15,000. Kolar’s bail was set at $40,000.
 
Aguilar and Kolar were shot during the home invasion. Two suspects, described as two Hispanic men between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between150 and 170 pounds, fled the scene.
