ST. CHARLES – Pets can have their photos taken with Santa from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 17 at the St. Charles Veterinary Clinic, 530 N. Dunham Road, St. Charles.

The event is an annual fundraiser for Help for Endangered and Lost Pets of St. Charles, a charity dedicated to providing medical care, a safe living environment and foster care to as many cats and dogs possible.

The cost of having a pet photographed with Santa is $20 for two pictures and includes holiday card holders and the pictures emailed to the pet owner; or $15 for a Santa picture with holiday card holder and the emailed image.

Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. Children are welcome to sit with their pets in the photo; all friendly pets are welcome.

Proceeds will benefit HELP in its mission to care for dogs and cats and educate the community on improving the lives of pets and reducing the stray and abandoned pet populations through spay and neuter programs.

The St. Charles Veterinary Clinic also will host bake sales during the Santa pictures to support HELP. Donated items for the bake sale may be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Nov. 16, or the day of the bake sales before 10 a.m.

Information about HELP is available online at www.helpinganimals.org.
