Judy Biggert, candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 11th Congressional District, today issued the following statement after receiving the endorsement of former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice:

“Judy Biggert is an example of the thoughtful, bipartisan, commonsense leadership we need in Washington,” said Secretary Rice. “She has a proven record of working across the aisle to address the problems confronting Illinoisans and all Americans every day.  She is committed to improving our economic competitiveness and protecting the country, I’m proud to stand with her as she works to represent the 11th District.”

“Condoleezza Rice won the respect of all Americans with her steady counsel and her leadership in an uncertain era,” said Congresswoman Biggert. “I’m truly honored to have her support as I work to represent the 11th District.”
